On Aug 6th 2025 at approximately 5:40 pm EDT, our platform experienced a brief service disruption affecting application access and gig creation. The disruption was triggered by a bug present in our external certificate authority. Although the platform remained stable overall, the bug caused some internal services to fail in accessing, receiving, and managing gigs.

Our engineering team identified the root cause and restored service functionality within approximately 20 minutes at 6:11 pm EDT. Over the following hours, we determined a workaround to bypass the bug and deployed the fix off-hours the following day.
